In 2005 Shelley Honeycutt named and purchased the COACH2college.com website. As a full-time employee she devoted her free time to developing the business model, services, website content, and ideas that would one day mold her dream of expert college planning for average families. In early 2011 Shelley launched the COACH2college Group full-time.
About Shelley Honeycutt: Shelley has worked in Admissions and Financial Aid for several prominent colleges in the Northeast. She has worked for a Federal & Private loan lender serving Northeast colleges. She worked for an Award Winning Federal loan Gaurantor serving Northeast colleges. For the last five years she managed and developed The AAA Student Lending Program for the Southern New England Club. She continues to consult for her former employers while focusing on her COACH2college business.
Additionally: Shelley has been a member of the National Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators NASFAA, Eastern Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators EASFAA and served on the EASFAA Diversity Committee 2004-06, Massachusetts Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators MASFAA and served on the MASFAA Early Awareness & College Outreach Committee 2005-2007, National Association for College Admissions Counseling NACAC, contributing editor for the College Leadership Foundation 2006-09, authored many articles and publications on the topics of college planning. She continues to deliver presentations on a variety of college planning topics, writes a newsletter for the Southern New England region, and maintains a blog.
